Experience: This year I am celebrating 20 years of making beautiful wedding images!. What this means to you is that I have the ability, technique and expertise to create the most fantastic images you’ve ever seen! I’ve covered thousands of weddings, which means I am better able to handle all types of situations that might arise at a wedding. I’ve dealt with all sorts of different people and all sorts of situations, in all sorts of venues! Along with experience comes flexibility and sensitivity. I’m confident in what I do, and because I have been privileged to photograph weddings in all kinds of different venues, and different time frames, I’ve developed a flexible style that makes my brides, grooms and their families very comfortable around me! In addition, I have chosen, and continue to choose, to photograph weddings for a living, this means I am enthusiastic!

Digital: The benefits of digital are almost too many to list! First of all, I would like to mention that all my printing is done by a professional photography lab that caters only to professional photographers. I don’t do inkjet prints, I don’t do any printing in house at all! Your photos are all printed on photo paper, with archival processing, to guarantee them to last a lifetime! Now, onto the good stuff: I have your proofs posted on my web site within a week of your wedding! No more waiting for weeks or months for those old fashioned paper proofs to be printed up. In addition, Internet proofing means that your family and friends can also log on, view the photos, and purchase the photos they want right from the web site! No more waiting till you see your family and friends, showing them the proofs, collecting their orders, placing the order, then getting their photos to them. Be sure and ask about the refrigerator magnets when you call! Digital also means flexibility! I can take an original photo created in color and hand color it, or have it printed in black and white, or sepia tone. I can paint it, either like a watercolor or an oil painting. I can create the coolest collages you’ve ever seen, and magazine style layouts for your wedding album that will knock your socks off! See Digital Magic! And of course, I crop and retouch every photo printed, so you always look your best!

Continuing Education: I am a member of Professional Photographers of America, Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. PPA, WPPI and NAPP all send out a monthly trade journal…I actually read them! These organizations also have web sites with tutorials and photographer’s forums that I participate in. I also attend the annual WPPI convention. All of this allows me to stay current with technological advances and allows me to offer you the latest and greatest in photographic styles! Don’t forget, however, that I am classically trained, so you get that benefit as well.
