I just love doing family portraits! It’s exciting to meet everyone and observe and document the interaction between family members! We always have a lot of fun at family portrait sessions!

Before I get to your session I will collect the names of each family member from you, this helps me show up to the session prepared with knowledge of all the different groups to photograph during the session. During our pre-portrait consultation we will also discuss the best clothing to wear to make the most out of the session. You can also consult Preparing for Your Portrait for information on this.

Most of my portrait sessions are done on location and take about an hour. I can help you choose a location, depending on your wishes and needs. I have access to scenic overlooks, beaches, waterfalls and lots of other cool places! During July, August and September the gardens at Image Angels studio are at their peak and perfect for portrait sessions! I can also do studio portraits, but due to space limitations can only accept families of five people or less for in studio portraits, although the gardens can accommodate much larger groups.

After the session is over, we will meet one more time in my studio. I will project the images on a large screen for you and give you the opportunity to see the images up close and personal. This is the time when you will be placing your order for your portraits!
