Those who’ve known me for a while know that every year I publish a calendar. The calendar usually goes on sale around Thanksgiving time and is very popular! Every year I get more and more folks who call ahead of time to reserve a calendar. The images in the calendar consist of photos that I have taken in my travels the previous year.
The image for this month was taken on a hike up to Winnemucca Lake. This is an awesome hike, fairly easy, 2 1/2 miles from the Carson Pass trailhead to the lake. The wildflowers on this hike are incredible if you time it right. Luckily I have a network of friends and when the wildflowers hit peak I hear about it through the ever faithful Lake Tahoe grapevine!
Also each month in the calendar I have a different quote. I collect these quotes throughout the year and then use them in the calendar.

Here we go again! I feel obligated to explain what’s been happening with the blog. I got a great start when I first started blogging a few months ago. Momentum was awesome, I had lots of comments, lots of posts about great brides and grooms and some great personal stuff going on. The blog was a living breathing entity, it was great! Then I started getting all kinds of spam on my blog, no problem, I deleted it. Then I started getting my emails bounced back to me, saying it wasn’t allowed because I was sending spam! ACK! What a pain. To make a long story short, somehow those dastardly spammers found a way to use my blog (and my ISP) to send spam. So I took the blog down, and am now starting all over, again. You may remember I lost the original blog when I changed host servers. So, I am going to go slow this time making changes and posts. I want to make sure the spammers don’t weasel their way in here before I get the momentum going again. But believe me, I have a big list of blog topics, so stay tuned!
